Children’s Ministries

Children are a blessing from the Lord! We at West Pines Baptist Church are committed to a ministry to children. We are convinced that it is worth whatever time, energy, or expense necessary to provide a quality opportunity for as many children as possible to learn the teachings of Scripture and apply it to their young lives.

Sunday Schedule

9:45 am Sunday School for all ages

11:00 am Children’s Worship (Ages 3-3rd grade)

5 pm Children’s Choir (Sept. – May)

Child Care

We believe that it is not only possible, but imperative to share the love of Christ with a child from the day of birth. Our volunteer parents and workers cooperate in communicating this love to our children in our nursery.

Child care is offered during all our Sunday worship services, Sunday School, and at the mid-week service on Wednesdays. All well children, newborn through age two, are welcomed by our staff of trained workers.

Awana

Wednesday 6:30-8:15 pm (Children Ages 3-6th grade) Sept.-May

Awana is another exciting way for your child to become involved here at West Pines Baptist Church. Awana provides an award through an achievement program that encourages children to memorize God’s Word and complete instructional lessons. Awana is famous for its fun and high energy games. It consists of games, handbooks, council time, awards, and seasonal events such as the Awana Grand Prix and Awana Olympics.

Summer Kid’s Zone

This exciting ministry is ongoing thoroughout the summer months on Wednesday evenings 6:30-8 p.m.  This summer’s theme is "The Egypt File" with wonderful stories, crafts, refreshments, games and fun, fun, fun.  If your child is between the ages of 4 and grade 5 we would love to have them come each week.  Don’t miss out!
