Missionaries
God’s plan is to reach the world. He "…wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth" 2 Timothy 2:4. We have committed as a church to set aside 25% of our undesignated giving to be set aside for missions. God loves humanity; our love should be no smaller.
We are privileged to have a part in God’s work around the world. We gladly accept the responsibility to support and pray for those who have become our partners in ministry. Please use this site to understand the missionaries listed and their fields of service. Encourage them on a personal level.
West Pines Baptist Church supports a number of active missionaries. Listed below are the links for the pages of each missionary. Click on each link to see the great work that God does through them.

How can you help our missionaries?
Pray
Pray: for cooperation between missionaries.
Pray for language and communication abilities.
Pray for cultural adjustment.
Pray for missionary kids. Missionaries and their children are normal people. They haven’t reached a super-spiritual plane, free from the nitty-gritty of daily experience.
Pray for no government/civil unrest. This can adversely affect our missionary works in some areas.
"Pray for boldness and skill in bringing the gospel to their area. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should," (Colossians 4:4-5). "Lord enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness." (Acts 4:29)
Write
Write: An encouraging letter or e-mail can lift a missionary’s spirit like nothing else. Although they know we care, nothing beats a personal note or thought from you!
Give
Give: Consider increasing your support to the local church in order that they can continue missionary work. Look for special requests and needs that you can help with as they arise.
Visit
Visit: A short-term mission trip is a great way to experience the joy of service to God.
Join Them!
Join Them: Consider if God would use you as a missionary. If you sense God is leading you in that direction, seek advice from Godly counsel and make sure you have been actively and faithfully involved in ministry now!
