A quick update from us.  Sept 8-11th we are accompanying 3 young men from our church to an adventure camp in the mountains in northern Portugal.  A group of leaders from the US as well as two other missionaries will be challenging the youth from many of our churches physically as well as spiritually.

The physical challenges include a rope course, a 24 km hike, rock climbing, canoeing, and camping.

The spiritual challenges will come in morning devotions as well as nightly Bible studies.  Chris will be leading one of the morning devos.  Catrina will be assisting with the cooking and food shopping throughout the four days.

Pray specifically for the three young men-Pedro, Estevao, and Timoteo (Peter, Steven and Timothy.)

Also up and coming is an English class that Catrina will be leading at the church due to begin the week after the camp.  We are beginning with a base of four Christians, and our hope is to invite the unsaved to this as well.  This will also be a huge test of her Portuguese as she attempts to explain sounds and word meanings in a way they can understand.
