The Kintners have been growing a thriving ministry and church. Their youth activity attendance has increased by 25% and the attendance at Sunday school is on the rise.

September 2009

Dear Ones,

Since preparing our most recent prayer letter in April, we have been dealing with a man not known to be reliable, concerning the purchase of the building we have been renting since June 2008, and the adjacent lot, (process was initiated May 2009).  Dave has witnessed to the owner, and he has attended services 3 times.  Details of the purchase have moved along erratically.  Terry and Jane Carruthers, are woking with us in this endeavor to establish a church in Presidente Figueiredo, and our Station colleagues have stood by and May 5, 2009, made a motion to provide an interest free loan for the purchase of the above property 42×30 meters.  God provided the down payment through gifts, and the offerings of the people in the work.  Now with the loan, the property is ours for the repayment of the loan as agreed, and a concluding amount to be paid through four (now 3) monthly promissory notes to the owner.  Please continue to pray for our monthly payments on the loan.

On July 14, the money from the loan arrived in the bank and Dave went immediately to take care of the payment. 

Healthwise, Grace seems to be stabilized in her BP and the meds she now takes regularly.  Her endurance is still not what she would like.  She has had another flair up with giardia leaving her a little drained.

SS attendance has grown and we divided the children’s class in two. 

Our goals are to see improvements on the building which now is Emanuel Regular Baptist’s, cleaning some of the property to give area for activities for the Bible Club and Youth, begin building a wall around the property as soon as possible, beginning a women’s missionary fellowship and press towards organization.
