February 2007 Report
Thank you for praying about the house repairs. I praise GOD for all the gifts
that have come in. Enough gifts came in to do all the repairs needed, the
roof, walls, and painting and to pay for the debt to the Mission.
There was more than one gift for a dryer so I put the rest of the money toward
the house repairs. Last Friday evening Senhor Luzi and his helper, Marcos
finished repairing all the walls and the painting of the whole inside of the
house. He has gone on a trip and when he returns he will replace the rotten
floor boards in the bedroon. Then all the needed work will be done. Any money
designated for repairs that is left will be put toward fixing the roof of the
Bet Sar Shalom Jewish work building and toward the much needed new gate. The
house looks great. The living dining room was worse than everthing else and
quite a bit of wall had to be knocked down and redone. Since Children’s
classes and Ladies Bible Studies are held here it is wonderful to have
everything looking great. I had been praying for the funds to fix things for a
long time. Everyone who comes in is as thrilled as I am to see the new walls.
Senior Luiz and Marcos are religious and worship GOD and Mary. Luiz works hard
to do his best in all his work and considers himself a good man. He is the one
that worked with the team that came last July doing repairs on the Jewish work
building. He listened when witnessed to but does not want to change religion.
Pray for continued witness to him and his brother-in-law Marcos and that they
may understand their need of salvation. Pray for the salvation of Efroim,
Esther’s husband. he is still in the hospital but seems to be much better the
last few days. Pray for my brother Dan and nephew Danny who are in Israel with
a team at present.
Thanks you
