Music Ministry

Music is a very important part of our church ministry and it is our endeavor to provide some form of musical expression for all ages. For children through teens, we believe Christian music provides growth and expression in the worship of God. We realize that God has given some a special calling and ability to serve Him musically. It is our desire to provide opportunities for these abilities to be used.

Highlights of the Music ministry are the annual presentation of Easter and Christmas cantatas, special concerts 3 to 5 times per year and presentations from our children’s choir.

Teens Involved and Talents for Christ (competition in the Fine Arts) are just two of the events our young people are involved in during the year. Competitions are held in February and April. These annual competitions allow some of our youth to earn scholarship money to go toward their college education expenses. Practice is held throughout the year.

Music-Related Ministry Groups

Christmas and Easter Cantatas, Special Music weekly, Concerts, Trios and Quartets.

Children’s Choir Rehearsal: 5:00 P.M. Sunday

Adult Choir Rehearsal: 5:00 P.M. Sunday

Ensembles: Men’s, Ladies, and Mixed Ensembles meet regularly after services to practice.

Instrumental: Instrumentalists accompany the services and special choir anthems.

CD and DVD Ministry

CD’s and DVD’s of the Sunday morning and evening services are available by request and are available for pick-up at the sound booth.  A small donation is appreciated to defray the cost.
