Dear Friends

Winter has come to an end and spring has begun as we continue to celebrate what the Lord is doing in the Awana ministry in S. FL.  

On March 24, our Sarasota Bible Quiz will take place in Sarasota Baptist Church with 24 teams competing in four T&T book divisions.  The main focus of this event is to share the gospel with all the families and friends that attend and watch the students share about the Scripture that they have learned in their Awana handbooks.

Recently, we were able to visit some Awana Clubs that have not been visited for a few years and encourage them with their Awana ministry and meet their clubbers and Awana leaders.  It is exciting to see the leaders so enthusiastic in sharing the gospel, helping the clubbers memorize Scripture and having a wonderful time playing exciting games during game time.

During a recent ministry visit, a dad shared with us what a blessing the Awana ministry has been to his children especially as they have grown up in Awana and how they have enjoyed being a part of Bible Quizzing.  We are constantly receiving reports of students and families accepting Christ and then beginning to share in their local church as a result of Awana.  Your gift of $50 helps make all this possible.  Thank you for your faithful giving as we minister to so many families each week around S.
