West Pines 50th Anniversary Celebration

West Pines Baptist Church, formerly known as Barton Road Baptist, will celebrate its 50th year on February 22, 2009.

Former pastors, youth leaders, and associates will be in attendance, with even some from Barton Road’s first youth group.

A weekend full of celebrating will start on Friday evening, February 19, with a mixer which includes old movies, popcorn, and home-made icecream.  Saturday morning there will be a snack brunch for the "old timers" with pictures and  movies.  Saturday evening we will host our banquet featuring all those from the past and present.  Sunday morning we will hold our morning service and follow up with a Picnic on the Grounds Family Fun Day.
